Question 01: What do I need to do if I am a resident, but I cannot park in my garage for a few days?

Answer: Contact board@athertonriverside.com and let them know your situation and give a description of the vehicle(s).

Question 02: What do I need to do if I have a guest who is parking a vehicle overnight?

Answer: Guest vehicles parked in the common area must place a note on the dashboard of the vehicle which states the estimated length of stay and the Atherton address or Lot number where the driver of the vehicle can be found.  Any guest parking for an extended period must inform the association of the circumstances. Question 03: What do I do if I have a problem with the sprinklers or landscaping around my home?

Answer: Contact one of the resident Board members or send the information to board@athertonriverside.com and provide them with the location and a description of the problem. The situation will be investigated and addressed.

Question 04: How do I get information on leasing a garage/storage unit?

Answer: Contact Ben Kenley at (909) 560-9238 for costs and assistance with leasing a garage/storage unit. 

Question 05: How does the call box at the entry gate work?

Answer: The visitor enters your 3-digit code (it should be your Lot number, i.e. Lot 51 would be "051") The call box will automatically call the telephone number you have provided for the gate resident directory. You press “9” on the keypad of your phone and the gate should open for your guest. If the visitor does not know the 3-digit code, they can scroll through the resident directory and press the CALL button when your name is displayed.

Question 06: What if the call box does not work as it should and the gate will not open?

Answer: Send an email to help@athertonriverside.com describing the problem as clearly as possible along with your contact information. The problem will be researched and you will receive a response. 

Question 07: How do I get my name and phone number added to, or corrected in the call box directory?

Answer: Send an email to help@athertonriverside.com with the name and phone number you would like listed in the directory. Include your contact information and you will be notified when the change has been added.

Question 08: How can I get my gate remote programmed?

Answer: Send an email to help@athertonriverside.com describing what you need along with your contact information. Arrangements will be made to get the remote programmed.

Question 09: How can I get another gate remote

Answer: Gate remotes can be purchased from WSR. The cost is $50. The only form of acceptable payment to purchase a gate remote is by check payable to Atherton HOA.  Only Atherton homeowners may purchase gate remotes. Be prepared to show proof of ownership when purchasing a gate remote.

Question 10: How do I get a Pool Gate Key?

Answer: The same key that opens the pedestrian gates next to the vehicle entry gates, will access the Pool and Clubhouse area. If you need to purchase additional keys, contact WSR. The cost is $50. The only form of acceptable payment to purchase a pool key is by check payable to Atherton HOA. Only Atherton homeowners may purchase a pool/gate key. Be prepared to show proof of ownership when purchasing a pool/gate key.

Question 11: How can I reSERVE the Clubhouse?

Answer: The Clubhouse is available for reservation by Association members who are in good standing and current with Association assessments. Check the website Calendar and determine if the Clubhouse is available on the date you are interested in. There is a fee is a $70 refundable security/cleaning deposit. A Clubhouse Rental Agreement can be found here for download and printing. Contact a board@athertonriverside.com to arrange for acceptance of the Rental Agreement with the checks.

Question 12: How do I join a committee or become a Board Member?

Answer. Complete an application and send it to WSR Sales and Management. The form to download, filled out and sent to WSR can be located here.

Question 13: How do I report a violation of the CC&R’s or Rules and Regulations

Answer: Send an email to violations@athertonriverside.com stating the alleged violation and pertinent facts. Include your contact information and you will receive a response after the matter has been investigated. 

Question 14: What can I do if I receive a “Notice of Violation” and I don’t understand it or I disagree with the violation?

Answer: Send an email to violations@athertonriverside.com stating what you received and what you don’t understand or agree with or contact Cordell McDonald at WSR (951) 682-1000. Provide your contact information and you will receive a response after the matter has been investigated.

Answer: Either contact a resident board member or send an email to help@athertonriverside.com with the question. Include your contact information and a response will be sent to you.
