Atherton Clubhouse Guidelines

The primary function of the Atherton Clubhouse is to provide social and recreational activities for Association members and residents who are in good standing and registered, on the Resident Registration Form, with the Association.

For security purposes and to keep damage and maintenance to a minimum, the Clubhouse will not be opened unless monitored. There are designated owners that have agreed to take responsibility for overseeing all the activity in the Clubhouse. A designated owner in charge is responsible for enforcement of all rules, cleaning, and returning the Clubhouse to its original condition prior to locking up. Any exceptions will be at their discretion and their responsibility.

When using the Clubhouse please remember:

  1. Treat the Clubhouse as you would your own home. Clean up after yourself.

  2. Owners are responsible for the conduct of their household members, tenants, and guests.

  3. Any damage or extraordinary cleaning costs will be billed to the owner’s account.

  4. Guests are allowed at the discretion of the person in charge and will be based on usage by other owners.

  5. There is no smoking or alcohol allowed in the Clubhouse or any surrounding common areas.

  6. No loud, destructive, or offensive activity is allowed.

  7. No wet swimwear.

  8. No glass/breakable containers.

The person in charge is authorized to enforce compliance with all Association rules, and deny use to any resident pending a hearing with the Board of Directors.
